Just outside Susteren you can take a walk in the border region with Germany. An ideal way to leave the everyday routine behind and enjoy your holiday.
Iron Forest
Europarcs Resort Limburg is a nice holiday park to recharge the battery. This beautiful walk is ideal for that. Head out nice and early so you can soak up the freshness of the morning dew. You walk along the meadows to the Iron Forest. It is nice and cool to walk under the deciduous trees. The bottom is covered with a white sea of flowering wood anemones, a beautiful picture!
Middelgraaf
Just past junction 10 you cross the Middelsgraaf. This stream was already dug in the thirteenth century as a drainage ditch. You walk along meadows and fields on a road where hardly any cars drive. It is wonderfully quiet here, ideal for a leisurely chat with your fellow walkers. Such a walk in the open air must have made you hungry. At Europarcs Resort Limburg you are welcome for a delicious meal in the restaurant.
