The village of Onstwedde

The region is characterized by the characteristic hoof landscape, which is being reconstructed by Staatsbosbeheer. The area is characterized by river dunes, small woods and hedgerows, ash and low-lying land. A beautiful area for walking.

Wooded area

Many remnants of esdorp landscape and hoof landscape can be found along the stream. The stream valley has been completely restored to its former glory in the last few years.
