Description
The Duinen van Goeree is a beautiful nature reserve on the South Holland island of Goeree-Overflakkee. Put on your sturdy and waterproof shoes and come and enjoy the salty sea air and the natural beauty.
Branding
During the first part of the route you walk on the beautiful wide sandy beach, while you hear the sound of the surf. From junction 43, the sandy beach gives way to marram-covered dunes and current channels. A wonderfully rugged landscape where you can enjoy the silence!
Middelduinen
Around junction 50 you walk through the Oostduinen. Here you walk through a water extraction area with dry dune grasslands where, among other things, the sweet-smelling thyme grows. From junction 49 you walk through the Middelduinen, a nature reserve that was created around the year 600 and has hardly been changed by humans. Unique! When the weather is nice, you can cool your feet by taking a foot bath.
