Achterhoek iron route 25 km

A beautiful trip through the Achterhoek, the 25 km iron route is a beautiful one along the Oude IJssel and the most important places of the iron industry in the area. While cycling you will receive information about the important points of the iron industry, such as the first iron foundry in the Netherlands and the complex of the DRU factory. This route is smaller than the 45 km route but contains almost the same amount of information.

Resting points 
while cycling you will pass enough resting points to rest and eat something. for example, take a cake at the Schaftlokaal, and a cup of coffee at t\\\'Onland 

Follow the route 
You can follow the route using the iron route signs provided, the 25 km route is indicated with green. the route starts and ends at the DRU culture factory.
