Veluwe: meandering past villages and nature

Wonderfully meandering along the villages on the Veluwe. Drifting sand, heathland and an old estate complete the picture. The route starts in Nunspeet. From here you cycle to Landgoed Hulshorst, further on lies the Beekhuizerzand: a slightly undulating drifting sand area. You cycle through the Gelderse Vallei, here you will find farms, meadows and forests. The route takes you back to the Veluwe via Voorthuizen. After Garderen you pass the Houtdorperveld, one of the largest heathlands in the Netherlands. In some places the horizon seems to be tens of kilometres away. You will also pass through Uddel and Elspeet, through forest and heathland you cycle back to Nunspeet.
