Description
Today you will cycle a beautiful varied route, along many nice places to get off. The route starts at Cafe Restaurant'\\\'Domme Aanleg\\\'\\\', a nice place to have a drink. First you cycle to Wijngaard and Uutbloas-halte Hofstee De Vennebulten on the edge of De Vennebulten, a beautiful nature reserve in the Achterhoek. The route takes you further through the coulisse landscape to Varsseveld. Around this village the landscape is characterized by small-scale relief differences: the Varsseveldse kopjes. These small cover sand hills, varying from one to five meters high, were formed during the last ice age. The Varsseveldse kopjes are a beautiful remnant of the historical East Dutch camp landscape. You cycle back via Theetuin Rensink and book town Bredevoort, an old fortified town. This is a nice place to get off!
