Enjoy a coffee and something tasty at Brasserie Eyserhof before you set off. First you walk into the Eyserbeek valley from which the village of Eys takes its name. As you walk along a traffic-calmed road to the hamlet of Piepert, you have a beautiful view of the stream valley. Further on you walk on unpaved paths through the woods and along the meadows. Here you have beautiful views of the Tuscany of the Netherlands. On the right of the road you will see a chapel from 1905, built from Kunradersteen. You walk back through the hills along a field road, past meadows and orchards. Just above Wahlwiller you walk over the Kruisberg. At the six-way junction at the top you can take a bench under an oak tree.
