Schovenhorst estate and the Sprielderbos

At Brasserie Schovenhorst you first enjoy something tasty. You can also buy entrance tickets for € 4 for the Bostoren here. From the 40 meter high top you have a unique view over the Veluwe, Amersfoort and the windmills in the polder. A little further on you walk past the geographical center of the Netherlands. Well, it's one of the possible centers of gravity, depending on how you do the calculation. On this spot is a boulder with an iron ring. The Sprielderbos is one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands, where you can walk carefree past birch and oak trees. Finally, you arrive at Landgoed Schovenhorst through two tree gardens that were created in the nineteenth century.
