Cycling route: 977544
Provided by: route.nl
The cycling route starts and ends at Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem. Here you can go for a cup of coffee, lunch, dinner, overnight stay or to rent a bicycle directly. You will soon pass a listening point of the Liberation Route, the route of the liberators at the end of the Second World War. It is worth taking a break and hearing what happened at L55: Battle of Ginkelse Heide. Near the Airborne monument you will also find the sheepfold of the Ginkelse Heide, nice to take a look around. The Scots pines you see are more than a hundred years old. The forests, heathlands, streams, watercourses and drifting sand areas provide a home for many special animals.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
