Walking through the Bunderbos

Just above Meerssen it is a beautiful walk through the wooded hills. You will find peace, natural beauty and beautiful old farms.

Cross Mountain
The higher you go, the more beautiful the views! You walk a bit through the forest, after which you walk across the plateau past the many orchards to the hamlet of Kasen.

Beech forest
Alders and beeches mainly grow in the Bunderbos. In this humid landscape you will also see springs, streams and waterfalls. Thanks to the unique soil conditions, some special plants grow here, such as giant horsetail. In the spring, the rare, onion-scented wild garlic blooms here. It is wonderfully quiet walking here, so you can enjoy the natural beauty at your leisure.
