Hollandsche Rading - Utrecht Overvecht via De Leyen and the Beukenburg estate

A very varied route. You start in the rural Hollandsche Rading, immediately after which you walk into the forest area between Hollandsche Rading and Lage Vuursche. Via an alternation of leafy tree-lined avenues, forest edges and along field edges and crossing a busy road a few times, you reach De Leyen and the Beukenburg estate between Groenekan and Bilthoven. After leaving this estate, the urbanization of Utrecht slowly comes closer. Before you know it, you are near a junction of railway lines and roads. Fortunately, we remain on the leafy and green side of the Utrecht area for a while. You walk along a nature reserve in the making. The Hooge Kampsepad. Just before Fort Voordorp, you continue the road over the Voordorperdijk towards the inhabited world. Just before Fort Blauwkapel, you walk the last kilometer(s) to the end point Utrecht Overvecht.
