Description
Cycling along the Stompwijkse Vaart you will see many drawbridges and swing bridges. You will also pass the Sint-Laurentius church from 1878. Further on you will cycle through the damp forest of the Leidschendammerhout, along the Vogelplas Starrevaart and along the Vlietland. In the polders you can then cycle on car-free roads. Enjoy a carefree breath of fresh air, while you let the peace and quiet work on you. Further on you can stop at Boerderij't Geertje for a nice drink and a bite to eat. At the Zoetermeerse Plas you will then cycle through a park-like environment, how beautiful it is here! The Rottemeren is your next stop: stop off to enjoy this natural gem.
