Short walk through Cadzand-Bad

This short walk of over 5 kilometers is the ideal walk to get to know Cadzand-Bad better and get a breath of fresh air on the beach.

Cadzad-Bad
The walk runs along the boulevard of Cadzand-Bad, after which you cross the Uitwateringskanaal and walk through the village. Cadzand-Bad is a place with a long bathing culture. This arose as early as 1866 with the construction of the Bath House. In the same year, the first bathing cart appeared on the coast of Cadzand-Bad. It was possible to rent bathing suits for both ladies and gentlemen, after which the ladies were taken to the sea by horse and cart. Bathing in the sea, also called cures, became popular.

Walking along the beach
Cadzand-Bad lives from tourism. There is always something to do here! The wide sandy beach is ideal for a day at the beach in the summer, but it is also wonderful to take a walk here in the winter. A marina was also constructed in 2016 and put into use in 2017.
