Description
Around the Limburg Grashoek it is beautiful to walk. This figure eight takes you through the forests on the Marisberg and through the quiet countryside.
Marisberg
First you walk to nature reserve De Marisberg. This forest is located at the highest point in the Peel. You walk here mainly between Scots pines. It is wonderfully quiet here, ideal for a day of relaxation. At the Dorpsplein of Grashoek you pass the Heilig Hart van Jezuskerk from 1954. The Pioniersmonument is also located here.
Flying kites
You walk through the fields around Vliegert. Here you will find a series of meadows, fields and small parcels of forest. A wonderful area to explore on foot.
