Leudal: cycling gem on the Meuse

After an overnight stay at Recreatiepark De Leistert, you will be fully refreshed for a day of cycling through Central Limburg. First, you ride to Waterbloem, a beautiful name for a nature reserve consisting of forest and marshes intersected by the Roggelse Beek. In Neer, you can admire the Neo-Gothic St. Martin's Church from 1910 on the Kerkplein. Cycling along the floodplains of the Maas to Buggenum is a beautiful experience. In Horn, you can dismount for a tasty lunch at Eetcafe Aan de Kirk. A little further on, you can catch a glimpse of Horn Castle before riding through the forest to Baexem. Shortly thereafter, you enter the Het Leudal nature reserve, one of the most beautiful in Limburg. In Roggel, you pass the striking St. Peter's Church, which dates partly from the fifteenth century.
