From Harderwijk along the Veluwemeer

From Harderwijk you take a tour along the Veluwemeer. A beautiful day getting a breath of fresh air on the water!

Hanseatic city
You start this route from Hotel Monopole. After you have had a wonderful night's sleep here, enjoy a coffee and something tasty before exploring the old center of Harderwijk. You will find a surprising number of monumental buildings in this former Hanseatic town. They provide a unique historical atmosphere. Around Hierden you cycle through the fields and along the wooded edge of the Veluwe.

Spike
In the Gelderse Vallei you drive on car-free roads along the meadows. It's so nice and quiet to cycle here! You can cross the Veluwemeer by ferry. Get some fresh air while enjoying the rippling water and the view of Flevoland and the rolling Veluwe. Then you cycle through the beautiful forest of the Het Spijk nature reserve. Cycling along the Veluwemeer you drive back to Harderwijk.
