Tour of Neeritter

Are you ready for a varied walk full of natural beauty and peace? Then come to Midden-Limburg, a hidden hiking gem. This route takes you through Neeritter and along the Uffelse Beek.

Church village
Enjoy a drink and a snack at Brasserie't Pastorieke, so that you can set off in good spirits and full of energy. You walk a bit through Neeritter, a characteristic and atmospheric church village near the Belgian border. Soon you walk into the countryside. On a shady path you walk between meadows and fields. Get some fresh air and shake off the daily routine. On the left at junction 31 you see the centuries-old Uffelse Molen.

Hunsel
Then you walk a good distance along the Uffelse Beek. A wonderfully quiet footpath where you can enjoy the silence, the grasslands, reed beds and strips of swamp forest. In the village of Hunsel you can see the Sint-Jacobus de Meerdere church. A church has stood here since the thirteenth century, the current building dates largely from the nineteenth century. Just outside the village you take another unpaved path through the fields back to Neeritter. What a beautiful walk it is here!
