To Elburg from Flevoland

With this route you experience the best of both worlds: new land and an ancient town. First of all, you cycle directly to Elburg. You pass right through the historic heart. Time seems to have stood still here. Be sure to get off to taste the special atmosphere. Then you drive further, along the banks of the Drontermeer and through the polders near Kampen. Time to get some fresh air and relax. Via the Roggebotsluis you cross the water to Flevoland: a true piece of art in the long history of the battle that the Netherlands waged against the water. Where the waves of the Zuiderzee once rose high, you now drive through a wide polder landscape. The route ends at Resort Zuiderzee Exploitatie BV, a holiday park on the Veluwemeer.
