Rosendael Castle and the Veluwezoom

First you cycle to Arnhem. You pass the Musispark and a little later you cross Park Sonsbeek, just behind the large pond. This park undulates considerably: the landscape was formed in the penultimate ice age. Large masses of ice folded the frozen ground at that time. You cycle right past Kasteel Rosendael. Of the fourteenth-century castle, only the large round tower remains, the rest of the building dates from 1616. In the castle you can see how the nobility used to live. A beautiful cycle path then leads you through the Veluwezoom National Park. On the other side of the park you discover B16 - Dieren - Hof te Dieren. Nowadays you will find a walled vineyard here.
