Arnhem, Gelderland, The Netherlands
Cycling route: 968392
Provided by: route.nl
First you cycle to Arnhem. You pass the Musispark and a little later you cross Sonsbeek Park, just behind the large pond. This park slopes considerably: the landscape was formed in the penultimate ice age. Large masses of ice then folded the frozen ground. You cycle right past Rosendael Castle. Only the large round tower remains of the fourteenth-century castle, the rest of the building dates from 1616. In the castle you can see how the nobility used to live. A beautiful cycle path then leads you through the Veluwezoom National Park. On the other side of the park you will discover B16 - Dieren - Hof te Dieren. Nowadays you will find a walled vineyard here. Also take a break at Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem along the way!
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
