Description
The route starts in Westervoort. You cycle east along the floodplains of the IJssel. Here you will discover the Lathumse Plas and Valeplas, two recreational lakes dug out of the IJssel. You cycle around Beinum on a beautiful cycle path on the dike. Then you take a short tour through the beautiful old Doesburg. Stop off at Stadshotel Doesburg & Restaurant De Kade for a cup of coffee or a bite to eat! In Angerlo you will pass the Sint-Galluskerk from the twelfth century. You cycle through the vast countryside to Duiven, after which the wooded Horsterpark awaits you: a new recreational area. A pond, play forest and native tree species make it a nice place to stop off and enjoy the surroundings. A wonderfully varied route!
