Description
Goeree-Overflakkee and Voorne-Putten are two South Holland gems on the North Sea. Get on your bike and explore both islands from Ouddorp.
Voornes Dune
Get some fresh air so you can clear your head. Further on you drive along the wooded banks of the Zuiderdiep. Via the Haringvlietdam (the sixth structure of the Delta Works) you cross the Haringvliet and enter Voornes Duin: another beautiful dune area. You can fully enjoy the silence and variety here.
Stellendam
Just before the ribbon village of Tinte you pass Museum in den Halven Maen. Here you take a wonderful leap back in time thanks to old objects such as groceries, tin and tobacco items. Through the polders and via the Haringvlietdam you drive to Stellendam, a beautiful village. Further on there is another charming town: Goedereede. Get off here to enjoy the nice atmosphere.
