A detour through the Loonse and Drunense Duinen

First you walk to Giersbergen. In this hamlet you will see many monumental thatched, long-walled farmhouses, so that it feels like you are taking a leap back in time. Then you walk into the Pig Forest. This sub-area with its old oak trees is named after the wild boars that once hid here. You will also pass through part of the drifting sand area for which this national park is known. It even owes its nickname of Brabantse Sahara to it. It is sometimes a bit difficult to walk, but you get something in return: unique views! The path then takes you through a plot with many conifers. You can enjoy the silence here. Afterwards you can enjoy a drink and a meal at Hotel Herberg & Brasserie D\\\'n Dries.
