It is always nice to cycle in Twente. The nature, the rich cultural history and the friendly people: you will love to come back here. This route takes you through nature and villages around Hengelo and Oldenzaal.

Lonneker
At Landgoed Kaamps you can enjoy a coffee with farmer's pastry, so that you can start your beautiful trip with sufficient energy. You soon drive through the beautiful forests east of Hengelo. You will have no trouble switching back here. In Lonneker you can get off at Café Sprakel before cycling through the woods at the foot of the Lonnekerberg. Further on you pass through the Haagse Bos, a hidden gem of Twente.

In picturesque Losser you enjoy a meal at Restaurant De Oude Apotheek, after which you drive through the rolling bocage landscape near Oldenzaal with its old Saxon farms. What a beautiful bike ride here! At Landgoedhotel De Wilmersberg you are welcome for a stopover, just like at Hotel Restaurant't Kruisselt. Then you drive a bit through the natural beauty of recreation area Het Hulsbeek. Via Deurningen you cycle back to Landgoed Kaamps.
