Description
The ancestors of the former presidents of America Theodore, Franklin Delano and his wife Eleanor Roosevelt come from Oud-Vossemeer. This route passes through polders where relatives of the former 'Van Rosevelts' had land and/or farms. Interesting sights include the Old Steam Pumping Station, The Roosevelt Information Center (located in the Ambachtsherenhuis), the Four Freedoms monument, the former Roosevelt House, the old Smidsklokje, the NH church and the De Jager mill.
