The valley of the Dinkel

This route in the shape of a figure of eight is ideal. If it gets a bit too much, stop at your starting point for a cup of tea or an overnight stay. If it's not too bad, you can continue walking through the beautiful Dinkel valley!

Tearoom
This route starts at Hotel & Restaurant Mössems , a hotel in a granary that has been rebuilt in the old style, opposite the old farmyard. This granary also houses a cozy tearoom, so you can also go there for something to drink. The route runs in a figure-eight, so you can take a break halfway through. If the route is a bit too long and you want to call it a day, that is of course also possible.

Dinkel
From the B&B you first walk a long way along the Diversion Canal. Part of the water of the Dinkel river is guided along this in a large bend northeast past Denekamp. You will encounter De Dinkel in the second loop you walk. The Dinkel valley is one of the best preserved stream valleys in the country, the water meanders like a delight. Tip: you walk right past the Cosmos observatory!
