The Dinkel Valley

Ideal, this route in the form of a figure eight. If it becomes too much, stop at your starting point for a cup of tea or an overnight stay. If it is not too bad, then you can continue walking through the beautiful Dinkel valley!

Tearoom
This route starts at Hotel & Restaurant Mössems , a hotel in a granary that has been rebuilt in the old style, opposite the old farmyard. This granary also houses a cozy tearoom, so you can also stop by for a drink. The route runs in a figure eight, so you can take a break halfway. If the route is a bit too long and you decide to call it a day, that is of course also possible.

Dinkel
From the B&B you first walk a long way along the Diversion Canal. Part of the water of the Dinkel river is led along this with a large bend to the northeast past Denekamp. You will encounter the Dinkel in the second loop that you walk. The Dinkel valley is one of the best preserved stream valleys in the country, the water meanders like a delight. Tip: you walk right past the Cosmos observatory!
