Tour of Posbank from the Veluwezoom visitor center

Discover the oldest National Park in the Netherlands: the Veluwezoom. This beautiful route takes you over the Posbank, among other things, for a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. A nice brisk walk, with Brasserie Veluwezoom as the starting point. Walk straight into the associated visitor center, where you will learn everything about this special area. The national park, established in 1930, is one of the largest contiguous nature reserves in the Netherlands, with almost five thousand hectares. More than two-thirds of De Veluwezoom now consists of forest. Here you will encounter many different species within a short distance of each other, such as oak coppices, park forests, old deciduous forests and plots with conifers. The Veluwezoom: the almost 90 meter high Posbank. From here you have a beautiful view - in clear weather you can even see more than 20 kilometers away and see the hills of the Rijk van Nijmegen.
