Description
You wouldn't suspect it when you stroll along the bustling boulevard, but nearby you will find a deafening silence in the Meijendel dune area. With this route you will also discover the beautiful St. Hubertuspark and Westbroekpark. You start and end at Visrestaurant De Dagvisser, the fish restaurant of The Hague. The restaurant is located at the most beautiful point in the fishing port of Scheveningen. You walk along the boulevard to the northeast, past the pier. Then you walk into Meijendel: a beautiful nature reserve of dunes and forests. You will find a wide variety of plants and trees here. And silence! A little later the St. Hubertuspark follows, a former hunting ground. The winding paths and differences in height make it seem very large. Enjoy this varied walk!
