Wateringen and the Westlands Museum

A beautiful walking route in a figure eight. Along the way you will discover special places, such as the Westlands Museum and the Hofpark in Wateringen.

Westlands Museum
After a cup of coffee at De Jachthaven Kwintsheul you set off. After a beautiful route along the Zwethkanaal you will arrive at the Westlands Museum. Here you will learn everything about the history of Westland horticulture. You will travel through time and see how the greenhouses have developed. You will also come across forgotten vegetables here, including in the shop where you can buy vegetables and fruit grown by volunteers in their own garden.

The second part of the walk takes you through the nature reserve of The Hague, the Uithof, and the Hofpark in Wateringen, around the national monument De Hofboerderij. Here you can discover many different types of trees.
