Description

The route starts in Wijk en Aalburg, because there are also very good e-bikes and bicycles for rent at Vos Tweewielers at Grote Kerkstraat 22a.

This cycling tour around the water over the dikes gives a fantastic view of the water, the villages and the farms and houses at the bottom of the dike. Especially Woudrichem with the Slot Loevestein and the completely restored town of Oud -  Heusden are definitely worth a visit. The route can be driven in both directions, but please note: the ferry from Loevestein to Woudrichem closes at 5.30 pm !!
The route is not long, but there is a lot to see in all kinds of villages.
