In the city centre of Delft it is beautiful to walk. Just outside the city you walk through the Bieslandse Bos: also recommended! The starting point of this route is Royal Delft, here you will discover the complete history and production process of Delft pottery, for which the city is so famous. Delft has one of the most beautiful city centres in the Netherlands. You walk along canals and monumental buildings. For example, you will pass the Oude Kerk from 1246 with its crooked tower. The Bieslandse Bos was created around 1985 for timber production, but now has a recreational function. Here you will find a variety of forest, marsh, untouched fields and swamp forests. The Bieslandse Polder was drained around 1780. From junction 85 to the Noordeindseweg you now walk through a beautiful creek area.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
