Oosterhout and the Loonse & Drunense Duinen

Oosterhout in Brabant is a town with a rich cultural history. In the Loonse & Drunense Duinen you will find plenty of natural beauty and tranquility. In between you can enjoy rural Brabant.

National Park
You ride your legs in the polder land between Raamsdonksveer and Kaatsheuvel. Get some fresh air while you downshift. As you get closer to Kaatsheuvel, you will see more forest. In the Loonse & Drunense Duinen you can enjoy fragrant conifers, oaks, birches and drifting sand. In between you drive through the picturesque hamlet of Giersbergen.

On stilts
In the village of Sprang you can take a look at the St. Nicholas Church, which originally dates from the Middle Ages. Further on is the Dye Sprancke, a corn mill from 1747. At junction 4 you drive through the Holy Triangle. There are three abbeys in this protected villagescape. Further on you can visit the Toy Museum on Stilts, which is highly recommended. On the Heuvel you will see some beautiful historic buildings, such as the Vrijheidshuis from 1610.
