Description

This route takes you through a large part of the Beemster world heritage site. After the start at the local tourist office, the tour begins along former country houses and farms of Amsterdam regents. Cycle along part of the dike that surrounds the former lake. There are various typical buildings in the Westbeemster, including a former monastery and hidden church. Visit the'real Beemster cheese\\\' cheese shop and enjoy a drink at the conclusion in the historic center of the Middenbeemster.
