Tour of Beemster, De Rijp and Schermerhorn

First have a cup of coffee at BRASA Beemster in Middenbeemster and then you get on your bike. This route takes you past the most beautiful and historic farms of the Beemster World Heritage Site. At junction 60 you have a beautiful view of Fort Spijkerboor, one of the forts of the Defense Line of Amsterdam. History has been beautifully preserved in the former fishing village of De Rijp, a good example of this is the old Town Hall where the tourist office is now located. Cycle through polder landscapes and look out over the old and new land of the Schermer and the Beemster. Vast and beautiful in all seasons. Along the way you can visit Stolpboerderij De Eenhoorn, Rustenhove Estate - Remembrance of a heyday and the smallest house Schermerhorn.
