Description
You will soon cycle past the De Valk mill, just outside Berkel en Rodenrijs. This polder mill from 1772 grinds on the Berkel polder. The thatched wooden octagon stands on a stone base. You cycle towards Delft via Oude Leede and Delfgauw. Just before the city you drive between two beautiful recreational and nature reserves: Delftse Hout and the Bieslandse Bovenpolder. Then you drive into Delft. Nearby, on the Markt, you will find De Nieuwe Kerk. Be sure to take a look inside, the church has an exhibition and a video presentation about the connection with the royal family. Enjoy a terrace in the beautiful city center of Delft! You cycle back along the beautiful Delft canals via the Abtswoudse forest.
