Around Zandvoort you drive through the wooded dunes, ideal for really relaxing. In the seaside resort itself you can enjoy the conviviality and beautiful buildings.
Leyduin estate
At Restaurant de Vogelensangh you can sit on a terrace to enjoy a delicious meal, so that you can get on the saddle in good spirits. First you drive through the park forest on Landgoed Leyduin. That's a great way to start your trip and immediately leave the everyday routine behind. Further on you drive through Aerdenhout, a village with a high percentage of villas.
Zandvoort
You drive through the dunes to Zandvoort. Here you will see some characteristic, Art Nouveau-built seaside resort villas. At junction 79 you drive past the monumental town hall from 1911. You then cycle many kilometers in the lee of the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes, a protected area that was established in 1853 as the first water extraction area in the Netherlands. You will experience a refreshing silence here. For even more refreshment, you can get off at Toscana IJssalon at the end of your route.
