Cycle route through Hilvarenbeek and the surrounding forests

Your route starts in Hilvarenbeek, at Henk Baars Bike-Sports Bicycle Rental, Sales & Maintenance. You will soon cross the Gorp Estate. The path leads you past deciduous and coniferous forests, occasionally you have beautiful views over fields and meadows. In the hamlet of Gorp you will see several monumental farms and a beautiful hunting lodge from 1870, then you will make a trip to the rural area around Poppel in Belgium. The Utrecht Estate was developed in 1898 as an investment by the life insurance company De Utrecht. You will cycle many kilometers through coniferous and deciduous forests. At the De Flaes fen you can get off and climb the striking lookout tower for a beautiful view. Finally you will pass through Hilvarenbeek, a beautiful old village where you can view the Doornboom mill.
