On the road through the woods of Landgoed De Utrecht

This beautiful walking route takes you through De Utrecht Estate with the beautiful Flaestoren lookout tower and lush forests. From here you can view the fragile nature of the fens from a safe distance.

Swimming pool
The forests here south of Tilburg are so beautiful that it is worth an overnight stay. This route departs from Auberge De Hilver, a beautiful spot with a heated outdoor swimming pool, bar and restaurant. Here you can enjoy a Kempen breakfast buffet, a good basis for a beautiful day of walking. Then you walk into the De Utrecht Estate, through forests, past extensive heathland and beautiful fens such as the Goorven and De Flaes. What a varied route!

Inn
At the De Flaes fen there is a beautiful lookout tower of 25 meters high. For €1 you get admission and can enjoy a breathtaking view of the fen area. The nature here is very special and vulnerable. After the Flaestoren, about half of the route, you will find Herberg In den Bockenreyder in the woods. An attractive spot for a break. Back at the hotel, you can cozy up by the fireplace in the restaurant.
