Description
The excitement of the city and its immediate surroundings can be seen and felt everywhere. The Drentsche Aa National Park, agriculture and new nature reserves, the beautiful (small) villages, the world-famous TT circuit, new residential areas and areas for daytime recreation, the transition to the peat on the west side with the Drents Hoofdvaart and the sand plateau with the valley of the Drentse Aa on the east side.
