Walking through Bergeijk and nature

You start this walking route in Bergeijk. On the corner of Hof and Domineestraat you pass the Hervormde Kerk, a small building from 1812. Further on you pass a triangle on the right with some large deciduous trees. Here is the modest Our Lady Chapel from 1934. Just outside Bergeijk you walk a bit through the Keersop valley, a side stream of the Dommel. The unpaved path can be damp, so make sure you wear good walking shoes. The route leads you further past grasslands, fields and a small forest plot. At junction 75 you walk through the Kromhurken, an alder forest that lies on both sides of the Keersop. Back in Bergeijk you will pass the fifteenth-century St. Peter's Bandenkerk. The route ends with a delicious meal on the terrace of Hotel Restaurant BEAU.
