Holy Cross Chapel
After a coffee on the terrace of De Drie Linden you have enough energy to start your walk. Opposite the eatery you see a solitary fifteenth-century church tower. The associated church was demolished in 1958. Further on you pass the Grenswachter, a flour mill from 1891. On the edge of the village is the Chapel of the Holy Cross from 1727. You walk along a stream into the woods. What a silence!
Farms
Back in Luyksgestel you can take a pit stop at De Drie Linden, after which you walk into the countryside. It is nice to walk on the leafy, car-free roads, while enjoying the peace and the view over the fields and fields. You regularly see a beautiful old farmhouse. You will also pass De Deen, a flour mill from 1839. Back at De Drie Linden, it's time for a meal!
