Holy Cross Chapel
After a coffee on the terrace of De Drie Linden you will have enough energy to start your walk. Opposite the cafe you will see a solitary fifteenth-century church tower. The accompanying church was demolished in 1958. Further on you pass the Border Guard, a flour mill from 1891. On the edge of the village is the Holy Cross Chapel from 1727. You walk along a stream into the woods. What a silence!
Farms
Back in Luyksgestel you can make a pit stop at De Drie Linden, after which you walk into the fields. It is nice to walk along the leafy, car-free roads, while enjoying the peace and quiet and the view over the fields and fields. You regularly see a beautiful old farm. You will also pass De Deen, a flour mill from 1839. Back at De Drie Linden it is time for a meal!
