Description
On Voorne-Putten you can take a wonderful bike ride along the Hartelkanaal and the Brielse Meer. You will also pass through beautiful places such as Brielle and Spijkenisse.
Mallenbos
After a refreshing night at the comfortable Carlton Oasis, you will have enough energy for a nice day of cycling. You ride your legs in the countryside of Spijkenisse. You will pass through the Mallenbos, a beautiful recreational area. In the old village center of Spijkenisse you will pass the old church. You will also see the Nooitgedacht, a striking flour mill from 1861. From the Brielse Maasdijk you have beautiful views over the water and the harbor area.
Brielle
It is also nice to cycle along the leafy banks of the Brielse Meer. Get some fresh air and enjoy nature and the peace. Further on you drive through Brielle, the historic fortified city where Alva lost his proverbial glasses. You can still taste the atmosphere of a bygone era here. You drive back to Carlton Oasis through the wide polders and along the canal.
