Description
Goedereede is a surprisingly beautiful village, well worth a visit. On Goeree-Flakkee you will also discover some beautiful nature reserves, such as the Oostduinen.
Goedereede
In Goedereede you will discover a nice historic atmosphere. You will see many centuries-old buildings, such as at the harbor. Here you can also admire the striking church tower from 1512, which served as a lighthouse until the early twentieth century. In the Oostduinen you drive through a mix of forest and dunes. Get some fresh air while enjoying the peace and quiet.
Dirksland
In the wide polders of Goeree-Overflakkee it is wonderful to travel for miles. You will pass through some beautiful characteristic villages, such as Stellendam and Dirksland. You also drive along the Slikken van Flakkee, a nature reserve of grasses and shrubs where nature is allowed to take its course. Around the junction you cycle along the Koudenhoek, an unspoilt nature reserve consisting of bird-rich meadows and creeks.
