A walk through the Bieslandse Bos

Your walk starts at Saam onder de Molen. Before you set off, you can view the Windlust here. This impressive corn mill was built in Delft in 1781, but moved to its current location in 1885. You walk along the Dobbeplas, a recreational area where you will find a mix of forest and fields. As you walk along the paved path, you have a beautiful view of the rippling water. The route forms a figure eight, so halfway you can stop at Saam onder de Molen for a snack or drink. You will also pass through Wandelbos Laakweg, a newly planted forest that is part of the Bieslandse Bos. You will see young trees here, and there are also marshes and ponds. A wonderfully quiet piece of nature, ideal for unwinding.
