A walk through the Bieslandse Bos

Your walk starts at Saam under the Mill. Before you set off, you can view the Windlust here. This imposing flour mill was built in Delft in 1781, but moved to its current location in 1885. You walk along the Dobbeplas, a recreational area where you will find a mix of forest and fields. As you walk along the paved path, you have a beautiful view of the rippling water. The route forms a figure of eight, so you can stop halfway at Saam Onder de Molen for a snack or drink. You will also pass through Wandelbos Laakweg, a newly planted forest that belongs to the Bieslandse Bos. You can still see young trees here, and there are also swamps and water features. A wonderfully quiet piece of nature, ideal for relaxing.
