Description
Just outside Almere you will find the Museumbos with no less than seven forest artworks. All those special sights make this area fun to discover, but the nature here is also a feast for the eyes.
Unwind
The starting point of this route is at a parking lot along the Meesweg, in the area west of the Musweg. Here you can park conveniently while you explore the area on foot. From here you walk in a circle through the Museumbos. Along the way you can enjoy the wide view from the highest mountain of the Flevopolder and the intense tranquility that hangs here. Away from all the hustle and bustle to relax. Then we haven't even talked about all the special places you pass along the way. How about the Elder Tree Blossom Berry Forest, for example? Here you can pick elderberries freely.
On an adventure in the woods
A little further you walk past old lime trees of Museumbos Tempo and the Berg Almere Boven. Climb this mountain to admire the surrounding area from above. Then you will arrive at the labyrinth. You walk through the hornbeams to the center of the labyrinth, if you can find the right way. Eventually you will return to the starting point of the route.
