Description
They are not just junctions, so only suitable if you have GPS.
The route starts at Amsterdam Central Station, north side. It starts relatively quietly with lots of water views. First the IJ, later through the Diemerpark along the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. Lots of bunnies in the park.
Then with a view of the IJmeer and the island of Pampus to the Muiderslot and the cute Muiden. At the locks in the center it is nice to have an ice cream and watch all the fuss with the boats and the locks.
On to the next cute historic town, Weesp .
Then time for rest again, beautiful smooth quiet roads along canals and rivers . Along the other side of the Amsterdam Rhine Canal, along a mostly quiet long cycle path back into Amsterdam.

Along the mill of Brouwerij't IJ , do you dare to drink a beer before you continue? Express with a slight detour back to Central Station. The route goes through the quiet Entrepotdok with beautiful warehouses with wooden beams on the ceilings. On Kadijksplein you can enjoy delicious Indonesian food at Café Kadijk.
I will also send you past the Maritime Museum , Marineterrein, and over the Dijksgracht: a hidden gem . Who would think that this hippie-like street with houseboats is located in the center of a metropolis? You will also pass the equally bohemian café Hannekes Boom with a terrace on the water .
