Cross the Veerse Meer by ferry

From Noord-Beveland you drive and sail to Walcheren. A beautiful route full of Zeeland natural beauty and the historic town of Veere.

From CountryHouse de Vlasschure you can explore the vast polders of Noord-Beveland. Get some fresh air, so that you forget the daily routine and get into the holiday mood. Just past Kamperland you get on the ferry that takes you across the Veerse Meer to Veere. You can easily spend half a day in this beautiful old port town, including a visit to the Vierschaar City Hall Museum.

Walcheren
On Walcheren you drive past fields, fields, hedges and rows of trees. In Vrouwenpolder you pass the beautiful Pilgrim Church from 1622. From the cycle path on the Veerse Gatdam you look out over the North Sea. When the weather is nice it is wonderful to take a dip here. On the north side of Noord-Beveland you can still see many inlays: small polders that lie behind the sea dike and consist of bird-rich swamps or reed fields.
