Description

Fancy a short walk before enjoying a tasty meal? Then come and take this detour through Someren-Eind and the surrounding area.

The Peel
You walk a bit through Someren-Eind, a mining village that arose in the Peel in the mid-nineteenth century. The entire Peel (approximately 30,000 hectares) once consisted of wasteland. Now you walk between fields and grasslands. Ideal for a day of relaxation.

Aaa
Twice you cross the Aa, a stream that originates a little further in Ospel and ultimately flows into the Dieze in Den Bosch. Around the Aa on this route there is a wetland area that is overgrown with deciduous trees. It is wonderfully quiet here to walk on unpaved paths. Wear waterproof shoes, the path can sometimes be boggy.
