Description
Start at Bredasebaan Bladel, at Landgoed Ten Vorsel, at the beginning of the beech avenue of Ten Vorsel, you will find a parking space at the front.
Zwarte Kaat was the terror of the Kempen for a long time. With her husband Bruno, she led a gang that robbed, murdered and looted. But in the end Zwarte Kaat would not escape her punishment: she was beheaded screaming on a scaffold. Her body was dragged to the moor and buried there. A bush marked the spot, but it soon grew into a ghostly tree, which is still known as the Witch Tree.
