Channel
First you drive a bit along the woods above Witgoor. From the road you look out over the fields. At junction 73 you pass the Sas4 tower. From the 37 meter high top you have a magnificent view of the wooded area. It is wonderful to travel for miles along the leafy banks of the Bocholt Herentals Canal.
Goorbossen
Between Kasterlee and Retie you drive through a mosaic of agricultural lands and stream valleys. Here you will see old farms, chapels and crosses. You also pass through the valley of the Kleine Nete, a branch of the Scheldt. You can fully enjoy the refreshing tranquility in this beautiful landscape. In the Goorbossen you see deciduous and coniferous trees. Nature is allowed to take its course here, what a beautiful unspoilt forest!
