Description
You can take a nice bike ride in the wooded area of Lommel. You will find many places of interest here, such as churches and chapels. You also enjoy the peace in the woods.
Channel
You drive through the built-up area of the village of Achterbos, then you drive through the woods to the Canal Bocholt Herentals. The 37 meter high Sas4 tower stands at a crossroads of waterways. You can climb it for a unique panorama.
Lommel
Then it is beautiful again to make kilometers along the green banks of the canal. Especially on hot days you can enjoy the coolness that comes from the water. Although Lommel is now in Belgian Limburg, it belonged to the Meijerij van's-Hertogenbosch for centuries. The dialect you hear is therefore Brabant. You will find beautiful sights here, such as the Sint-Pietersbandenkerk from 1902.
